One: A probably ill-advised trip to the Yosemite backcountry in early summer. Julian and I tackled a 38-mile loop, way more snow than we were expecting, and getting to and from SF in a weekend. 📍Tuolumne Meadows, CA

Two: I spent a lot of weekends this summer in Yosemite, including this backpacking trip with a friend of a friend that I'd never met. Had a great time. 📍Yosemite, CA

Three: Visited Julian's homeland (Alberta). Did the Northover Ridge loop in a day, since we couldn't get backpacking permits. Weather was awful and we accidentally climbed the wrong mountain at one point, but it's still one of my favorite days in the mountains. 📍Alberta, CAN

Four: Met up with an Instagram friend in Yosemite. Literally just found him in the backcountry. He now manages the design team at Huckberry. 📍Yosemite, CA

Five: A trip to Desolation Wilderness with Julian, Colin, Wes, and Shara. Unbenownst to us, Julian was shooting photos that would later appear in the original "Shot on iPhone" campaign. He still didn't get up for sunrise.📍 Lake Tahoe, CA

Six: In the fall, I decided to visit Colorado for a week, and it blew me away. Decided I was going to move there.📍Grays Peak, CO
